Oxford Fencing Club
Oxford Fencing Club is a friendly club with a wide range of ages and abilities. It meets in the sports hall of Rye St Antony School, Franklin Road, Headington, Oxford OX3 0BY: see location. Fencers from other clubs are very welcome as occasional visitors. See about us.

From 2 September 2008 the club will fence twice every week: 

·       Tuesday  8:00–10:00

·       Friday     7:30–9:30

BBO foil championships

Many congratulations to the members who took part in the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire foil championships on 19 October. Martin Carter was second and Gordon Hardie third in the men's event, Dan Barnes won the under-16 boys, Lydia Stanier won the under-12 girls, and Alexander Hardie was 5th in the under-12 boys. Well done!

 

Wheechair fencing day

On Saturday 25 October Matthew Thompson, in conjunction with the British Disabled Fencing Association and the Oxfordshire Sports Partnership, led a wheelchair fencing taster session at Rye St Antony: see recruitment day
