Subscription
Fencers are asked to pay their subscription by the end of September
. The subscription for the year from September 2011 to August 2012 is £145. Alternatively twelve monthly payments of £13 may be made by standing order, provided a total of £156 is paid for the year.

The best way to pay a subscription is by online or telephone payment to the account of Oxford Fencing Club at Lloyds TSB, Carfax, Oxford. Or you can write a cheque payable to Oxford Fencing Club and either post it to our treasurer, Jane Magé, at 55 Lashford Lane, Dry Sandford, Abingdon OX13 6DZ, or hand it to Jane at the club.

To receive the necessary details to set up an online transfer or standing order please send an email to treasurer@oxfordfencingclub.co.uk

Family discount
To encourage family participation in fencing Oxford Fencing Club offers a discount of 50% on the subscription of second and subsequent members of a family who join the club in a year.

Everyone who fences in the club should pay an annual subscription. Let the treasurer know, however, if you would have difficulty in paying the full subscription.

Visitors
The visitor's fee is £5 per visit. This option is available to current members of other fencing clubs who are full members of the BFA; it is not an alternative to full subscription for irregular attenders.

BFA membership and insurance
The club's rule stipulate that everyone fencing in the club must have the insurance cover provided by some level of membership of the British Fencing Association. Full membership (adult £40; under-20 £30; under-14 £25) gives a range of benefits and is needed by those who wish to fence outside the club. Alternatively 'social' membership of the BFA gives you, for just £10, twelve months' insurance cover for non-competitive fencing within this club only, and cover for a single local competition.

Membership may be taken out online from the British Fencing website: British Fencing membership.
