Subscription
The subscription for the year from September 2008 to August 2009 is £105. Current fencers are asked to pay their subscription by 10 October 2008.
The best way to pay a subscription is now by online or telephone banking; to receive the necessary details please send an email to
treasurer@oxfordfencingclub.co.uk.
Alternatively you can of course give the treasurer a cheque payable to Oxford Fencing Club.
Everyone who fences in the club should pay an annual subscription. Let the treasurer know, however, if you would have difficulty in paying the full subscription.
Family discount
To encourage family participation in fencing, parents who are members of Oxford Fencing Club will receive a 50% discount on each child’s membership subscription, and a 50% discount on each child’s fees for the beginners class. The discount applies to any child under the age of 16 who attends the club with a parent or guardian.
Visitors
Visitor's fee, for members of other fencing clubs: £5 per visit.
Please make all payments to the club's treasurer, Joe Rogers.
Insurance
It is the club's policy that everyone fencing in the club must have the insurance cover provided by some level of membership of the British Fencing Association. For details see
British Fencing membership.
If you are already an individual member of the BFA please let the secretary, Daniel Newman, have your membership number. If you would like the club to take out `social' membership on your behalf, which for £10 gives you twelve months' insurance cover for non-competitive fencing within this club only, please send your name, address, date of birth, and a cheque for £10 payable to Oxford Fencing Club to the treasurer.
