A weekend’s fencing in Hampshire resulted in four medals coming home to Oxford. In the Open Women’s Épée, after eliminating the third seed in the DE’s, Ava was pitted against second seed Anne in an intense semi-final. A 15-14 win put Ava into the final where she put up an impressive fight but was defeated 15-11 by the eventual winner. On the same day, Rebecca was awarded a bronze medal in the Veteran Women’s Foil.  The following day Anne returned to take her second bronze medal of the weekend in the Veteran Women’s Épée. Well done, all!
