About Us

Oxford Fencing Club is a friendly club with a wide range of ages (from 8 upwards) and abilities. It is affiliated to the British Fencing Association. Fencers from other clubs who have current full membership of the BFA are very welcome as occasional visitors.

The club meets in the sports centre of Rye St Antony School, Franklin Road, Headington, Oxford: see location.

The club fences twice weekly: Tuesday 8:00pm–10:00pm and Friday 7:15pm–9:45pm.

Oxford Fencing Club Coach - Malcolm

Malcolm Allton has level 4 coaching accredition in all three weapons, many years’ competitive fencing experience, particularly in epee, and a FIE-qualified International referee at epee and national at foil and sabre.







Martin Carter is a level 2 foil coach and the armourer. He coaches each Friday.








Oxford Fencing Club Coach - JamesJames Kingston is a qualified British Fencing Association coach registered with England Fencing.  (level 2 in foil, épée and level 2 in Sabre)
