Leiden fencing A.E.W. (Attack and Parry) club, which is the fencing club in Leiden are celebrating their 100th anniversary this year. Since Leiden is one of Oxford’s twin cities, they have decided to visit for a cultural and fencing exchange. We will be welcoming them to Oxford during the week 27th April to 5th May. The events planned so far are:

| Saturday 27th April | Leiden visitors arrive. Pot-luck picnic is being planned in Linacre college (or University Parks, adjacent. Weather dependent) 13:00 – 17:00. We will arrange what/how to bring food nearer the time. |
| Sunday 28th April | Afternoon: Punting or similar tourist activity in Oxford. All welcome. |

| Tuesday 30th April | Training at Oxford Fencing Club session. All fencers welcome! |
| Wednesday 1st May | |
| Thursday 2nd May | |
| Friday 3rd May | Training at Oxford Fencing Club. Pro/Am session following our current beginners courses, so a fun (and busy) evening’s fencing. |
